Manifesting for Life

Chasing After the Wind | Call for Action

Sharing is caring!

Chasing after the wind is a common aspect known around the world where we are looking for change and damning those that may step up to create it, but don’t measure up to an expectation. The call for action when it comes to chasing after the wind is about looking deeper so there is more change and less damnation around the world.

I saw that all who lived and walked under the sun followed the youth, the king’s successor. There was no end to all the people who were before them. But those who came later were not pleased with the successor. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind. Ecclesiastes 4:15-16

I used to hate change but I was within a career where I was considered a change manager, as an Industrial Engineer. I know this is ironic, but it is one aspect God worked within my life so I could become a better person and help more people. It was a mirror event for my life.

Chasing After the Wind

Chasing after the wind is following the winds of change but not seeing it; not feeling into what value and worth may be within the change possible in any moment of time. We often look at the leaders of the world but aren’t considering the leadership energy within ourselves. When we look for the next successor outwardly in the world, we aren’t considering the positive aspects of change we can have within our own piece of the world we live within.

Pinning our hopes and dreams on any government leader to change our life from what is to what we are dreaming about isn’t the way. Complaining about what they vowed and couldn’t accomplish is creating harm to creation itself. Being change by looking within and noticing what areas relate to what is irritating you about what you see in the world, is the way to positive change within creation. When you do this you aren’t chasing the wind meaninglessly.

Have you ever noticed how you react to any change of person within any position?

Are you happy for them and excited about what may be possible?

Are you judging and looking for the negative in people?

What’s the habit and pattern in different aspects of your life?

In the verse above, the story showed those not happy with the king but excited about the successor. In the end they weren’t happy with the successor either. This is seen in many ways around the world. We can be looking for something in a change of life, but when something doesn’t fit or feel quite aligned for us completely we aren’t happy.

The expectation that another is there to completely change our life for us, is a cast off of the wind. What we need is found in the message of the wind for our life. It is personal. We are designed to inherently want to help others but, that journey may be an introduction to a potential opportunity in introspection.

The wind sends messages from the Lord within the changes possible. The positive ways of being can be felt as we are asked to know we are surefooted in life and can be the change within it. Any negative aspect being expressed as well as positive ones are part of creation.

Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few. As a dream comes when there are many cares, so the speech of a fool when there are many words.  Ecclesiastes 5:2-3

The Call for Action

The call for action is two-fold: first notice where you may be chasing after the wind, and next notice how you are expressing yourself when it comes to how to be change within your life. I wrote an article recently asking hockey fans to lean into the love of the game in positive change of support to ensure the players and themselves have the clarity within their life. The projected energy that can be directed in negative ways when one complains or hates can damage an energy and be counteractive to creating change within any position. Those within those positions may have difficulty rising up to show what they can do to create change. Please consider this when you find yourself chasing after the wind.
