Why Marriage Holds a Ball and Chain
Why marriage holds a ball and chain is not necessarily a joke meant to redirect why you can’t go or do something in life, it is deeper than that. The ball and chain expression began in 1628 when a mother wanted her son to go back home to his “woman already”, and he responded in disgust at the feeling like his wife was the ball and chain for his freedom. He had been forced to marry after sex before marriage, and wanted out of the marriage.
She cried herself to sleep most nights and he felt alone. She felt the coldness from her family, his family, and him. The love that may have been considered was hiding in the darkness of a cold forged bond, designed to keep them together.
When the pace of trust and flow within a natural peaceful way of exploring each other, is held together through a forging fire of anger, shame, and fear fractures of love are held within the protective intentions everyone forced upon the couple. Is it lost? Only if the couple can’t find the forged potentials from a true measure of love designed for abundance. This would take the ball and chain and shift it into new designs for love.
Why Marriage Holds a Ball and Chain
Each marriage is a forged potential for a heart centered goal for life. The life you have within each opportunity to nurture love is important. The precious metals that form a protectiveness of trust, value, and worthiness for your life also form natural shield of faith for your relationship together. The same holds true for your chosen love also.
When the precious metal is formed into a ball and chain, what did it?
What took the heat within the relationship and changed the design to form a ball and chain instead?
The exact heat within any marriage creates a fluidity and trust as the forged potential sculps life to nurture the love for each other.
For some this began over many lifetimes ago.
For others this may continue over many lifetimes ahead.
What is important, is how you nurture the forged opportunities for love in this life now.
The timing and flow within how you move with each other and for the life you are creating together needs less weight impacting the timing of your manifestations for abundance. The way you speak to each other and how you hear your chosen love needs timing to be aligned between the two of you. If you feel the freedom of your chosen love needs limitations then the trust you have for them and your love is shackled with weights misdirecting abundance and the timing for it.
The words spoken need to be forged within a purpose filled heat not in lower vibrational expectations stripping worthiness and value from life. Would you unlock the potential if you were given a key worthy of using to lift love for life and for your marriage once more?
The Old Man and Old Lady
The perception for these terms matter. Is it to age them within a chosen love, known deep down as a fit for your life similar to an old soul? Is it because they are like aged wine or fruit from long ago where you know they were a chosen for you, far before you knew them? This is the thought that uplifts the expression. It alchemizes the potentially thought of disparagement by another or yourself.
What thoughts are you choosing to feed within your nourishment?
How do you see your love now and are there paths where your love is nurtured within a higher version of worthiness and value?
If there is a negative connotation these terms may create a cast off or deflection to a timing for when love is received by them or by yourself in response. Do they need to let the love seep into their being to feel it, or do they know the depth of your love already? What’s more exciting the young or old aspect of beauty? There is beauty in aged: growth, trust, faith, and understanding. There is beauty in knowing you can be yourself and be seen, accepted, and loved.
This aged love is priceless and hard to describe how it feels, but to know it, is love. Walk forward within a forged potential for your hand in marriage. Create a fluidity within the precious design of your love, worthy of any artform of life. Throw the ball and chain metaphor in the melting pot, for a purposeful transformation of your love. You hold the key, trust in the journey.
